Hi there, I'm Maria! 

Maria's Moments has existed for many years, since I was 18 and used to design cards as a hobby. I remember the joy of ordering a stamp with 'handmade by Maria's Moments' on it for the back of the cards and knowing these cards were my creations was awesome. Fast forward 17 years, I still have that exact stamp.

The move to scrabble art came in 2023 when I thought of an idea for a Secret Santa gift at work. Within weeks, I was selling on Etsy just in time for Christmas. That was so incredible, and it was a joy to be able to turn something like that into a small business. I then began working with pebbles and driftwood as I live by the sea, and soon added pebble art to my collection. 

After a while, I started looking at what else I could make or as my husband calls it “lily-padding” because I jump from one to another. A visit to a craft store soon saw me buying paints and ceramic vases, and I instantly felt a sense of calm. The stresses from the day job eased whenever I started painting, so I began adding my vases to my collection. 

They often say to stick to one thing, but I’m me and I can’t sit still, so I’ll be lily-padding again soon no doubt!
